Haley Youker

Haley Youker joins the Mercyhurst Women’s Bowling Team as an assistant coach, after spending the last four years on the Lakers’ Varsity Team.

The East Syracuse, New York native collected a plethora of accolades in her time the Lakers. She ended her time at Mercyhurst helping lead them to their first ever ECC Tournament Championship in the 2022-23 season, while collecting her second ECC Bowler of the Year.

Prior to Mercyhurst, Youker picked up multiple league, tournament, and state championships along with multiple MVPs. She became the first female high schooler ever to bowl multiple 300 games in high school. She spent one year at Lincoln Memorial University after high school before transferring to Mercyhurst.

In her first season with Mercyhurst, Youker had a 217.1 game average over 35 games that season which earned her the first of her two ECC Bowler of the Years. She would also pick up All-ECC First Team and NTCA All-American Third Team honors after being named MVP four times to finish out her sophomore season.

Youker again earned honors in her senior year, being placed on the All-ECC Second Team after posting a 19.12 pin per frame average.

Her graduate season was her best, which of course ended with the Tournament championship and Bowler of the Year, but she was able to add 2022-23 ECC All-Confrenece First Team, 2022-23 NTCA All-Region First Team, 2022-23 USBC All-American Honorable Mention, 2023 Mercyhurst Female Athlete of the Year and five MVP’s throughout the season to her resume. 

Youker graduated with a Sports Medicine degree and is a member of the PWBA.
