ERIE, Pa. - The Mercyhurst University men's cross country team, in conjuction with Gannon University, hosted the eighth annual Race In The Park at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview on Saturday morning. The Lakers dominated the meet to win their first team title of the season.

Mercyhurst finished with 20 team points to take home the title. Five of the top 11 runners competing in the event on Saturday were members of the Mercyhurst men's team. Daemen finished second with 47 points while Gannon placed third with 53 points. Edinboro, Pitt-Johnstown, and Pitt-Bradford were all incomplete due to not enough runners competing.
