BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Mercyhurst women's ice hockey players
Brooke Hartwick,
Jillian Skinner, and
Maggie Knott each received individual awards at the 2016-17 College Hockey America (CHA) Banquet held at the Hyatt Hotel in Buffalo, N.Y. Wednesday evening.
Hartwick and Skinnner were both named to the All-CHA Second Team while Knott was chosen to the All-CHA Rookie Team.
Hartwick, a junior forward for the Lakers, led Mercyhurst in total goals (16), assists (16), and points (32). She also was named CHA Player of the Week after her performance against third-ranked St. Lawrence. Hartwick leads the Lakers with six power-play goals and was second on the squad with a +10 rating.
Skinner, a senior defenseman, was tops among Laker blue liners with seven goals and 11 assists in the 2016-17 season. She led all Lakers in power-play with 11 and tied for the team lead with two game-winning goals.
Knott, a freshman forward, scored five goals and 12 assists this season and was named CHA Rookie of the Week twice. She scored a game-winning goal against Lindenwood on Feb. 17.
