Mercyhurst women's hockey alumni Meghan Agosta and Bailey Bram were both chosen to represent Team Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Agosta will play in her fourth Olympic Games and is the lone player remaining on the Canadian roster to have played in the 2006 Turin games. She helped Team Canada win gold medals in 2006, 2010, and 2014.

Bram qualifies for her first Olympic Games after narrowly missing the final roster for the 2014 Olympics. Both join the 23-player roster, which includes 14 returnees from the 2014 gold-medal team.

Current Lakers Vilma Tanskanen and Emma Nuutinen are currently vying for position on Team Finland's roster which will make its final roster selections after the Nations Cup in Germany Jan. 3-6.

The Olympic tournament begins on Feb. 11 and concludes with the gold medal game on Feb. 22. Team Canada faces off against Russia on the tournament's opening day.
