Mercyhurst goaltender Jessica Convery was named College Hockey America Goalie of the Month for December 2016.
 
The Lakers junior posted a 1-2-0 record in four games played including three starts. Convery made 78 saves on 83 shots and recorded her first shutout of the season in a 4-0 win against Lindenwood on Dec. 2 where she saved all 24 shots. Her totals for the month include a .940 save percentage and a 1.49 goals-against average.
