The Mercyhurst baseball team ranked 16^th in the Perfect Game Division II Preseason Poll released on Thursday, Jan. 26.
 
This is the second preseason national poll the Lakers are ranked in. They are ranked ninth in the Collegiate Baseball News Coaches' Poll released back on Dec. 21.
 
The Lakers finished ranked 15^th on Perfect Game's final poll for the 2016 season after recording a school-record 43 wins.
