The Mercyhurst men's hockey team and Erie Insurance Arena are set to host Penn State in the second Snowtown Throwdown, which is set to take place on Oct. 14 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and students (students must have student ID). Groups of ten or more will be given a $10 ticket rate for admission.
 
The Erie Insurance Arena holds more than 6,000 persons for hockey games. It is home to three teams including the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters, the NBA D-League's Erie BayHawks and the Professional Indoor Football League's Erie Explosion.
 
In 2015, the Lakers hosted the first Snowtown Throwdown against Ohio State at the EIA. The Lakers and Buckeyes battled in front 4,100-plus fans during the weekend series.
 
The event raised $2,000 for The Warming Center hosted at the Mental Health Association of Northwest Pennsylvania.
