CALIFORNIA, Pa. -- Nationally-ranked No. 6 California (Pa.) blanked the Mercyhurst College women's tennis team, 6-0, in the second round of the NCAA II Tournament on Friday afternoon at Roadman Park.
The Lakers finish their 2009-10 campaign with a 20-9 mark while making history in the process. The women's program was the first tennis team at Mercyhurst to win an NCAA Tournament match and the first to eclipse the 20-win plateau.
