PERRY, N.Y. – Three graduates of the Mercyhurst College men’s lacrosse team have been selected to participate in the 2010 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association-LaxWorld North / South Game, held Friday, May, 28 at 5:30 p.m. on the campus of Goucher College in Towson, Md.

Chris Eline, Luke Prattico and Tyler Burton will join 27 other student-athletes from various Division I and Division II institutions as members of the South squad, led by head coach Tom Gravante and assistant coach Cory Coffman of Mount St. Mary’s, the 2010 Metro Atlantic Athletic Association (MAAC) Champion.

The trio of Lakers selected marks just the second time in the 14-year history of the program a Mercyhurst player has been invited to participate in the annual senior all-star game.

This year’s game will be the 69th rendition of the event dating back 1940, when Baltimore was tabbed as the inaugural host city. This will be the 22nd time it has been hosted in Baltimore, and the first time since 2007.
