BALTIMORE, Md. – Three members of the Mercyhurst College men’s lacrosse team were named All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Monday morning. Seniors

Chris Eline joined junior
Zach Nash as USILA Second Team All-Americans, marking the eighth straight year a Laker has earned AA honors.
Burton, a midfielder from London, Ontario, ranked third on the team in scoring with 26 goals and 12 assists for 38 points. He scored three game-winning goals and found the back of the net five times on man-up situations. Additionally, he added 18 ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Eline was part of a defensive unit that limited opponents to a nation-low 5.52 goals per game. Starting in 12 of 14 games played this season, the Jarrettsville, Md., native recorded 21 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers.
Nash, a Rochester, N.Y., product, led Mercyhurst to its best season since 2007. In his first season as the team’s starting goalkeeper, Nash recorded an 11-1 record with a .597 save percentage and a 5.94 goals against average. He made double-digit saves in three games this season, with 17 in a 12-8 win over New York Tech and 16 in an 11-8 victory over Dowling.
In the 14 years of the men’s lacrosse program, Mercyhurst players have accumulated 29 All-America honors, with head coach Chris Ryan having a hand in 27 of them.
