INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The No. 1-ranked Mercyhurst College women's ice hockey team enters the National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Championship for the sixth-straight year, as announced by the Association in Sunday's selection show.

The Lakers are the top-seeded unit in the eight-team tournament and will host Boston U. in the quarterfinals on Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Ice Center.

The winner will advance to the NCAA Women's Frozen Four in Minneapolis on March 19-21, with the semifinals slated for Friday, March 19 and the championship game schedule for Sunday, March 21 at 12 noon.
