Hope Rozelle were named Western Division Co-Defensive Players of the Week, while freshman
Lisett Calderon was tabbed rookie of the week.
Mercyhurst went 5-0 last weekend with a win over Gannon and four wins over Villanova, Chatham, Utica and Penn State Behrend at the Behrend Invite.
Rozelle registered 33 saves in three games as she notched 16 saves in a 7-6 win in overtime against Gannon in a CWPA Western Division game on Friday evening before blocking down eight scoring tries in a 14-7 victory versus Villanova on Saturday and nine shots in a 5-0 victory against PSU-Behrend on Sunday at the Behrend Invitational.
Korenich recorded 14 saves in a 10-5 victory over Chatham before contributing 16 saves in an 11-1 against Utica to conclude the weekend with 30 stops in 64 minutes of work.
Calderon contributed five goals, including the game-winner in overtime against Gannon, and five steals. Against the Golden Knights, she scored twice, including the game-winner two minutes into overtime, to give the Lakers a 7-6 OT victory. At the Penn State Behrend Invitational, she tacked on two goals against Villanova and a solo marker versus Chatham.
Mercyhurst returns to action this weekend with three games at the Indiana University Fluid Five, beginning on Friday, Mar. 27 in Bloomington, Ind.
