ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst College women's water polo team ran its winning streak to five games as the Lakers defeated Penn State Behrend, 5-0, to close out the PSB Invitational on Sunday at the Junker Center.

The Lakers (5-9) did most of their damage in the first quarter, scoring three goals before adding a goal in each of the next two frames.

Freshman Trish Armstrong led the offense with three goals, while classmate Kylie McCormick and sophomore Laura Hennessey each added a strike. Sophomore Laura Perez paced the Lakers with two assists.

Sophomore Hope Rozelle recorded the shutout with nine saves through 32 minutes worth of action.
