Bendus earned a spot on the first team, making it four-straight years Mercyhurst has had a First-Team All-American. Scanzano, meanwhile, highlighted the Lakers on the second team.

Bendus, a native of Wasaga Beach, Ontario and a Top-Three Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Finalist, has scored 28 goals and totaled 65 points through 35 games thus far. She ranks second in the country in points per game (1.86), third in assists per game (1.06) and fifth in goals per game (0.80). Additionally, five of her 28 goals came on the penalty kill to put her in a tie with teammate and sophomore Bailey Bram for first nationally in short-handed goals.

Scanzano is tied with Bendus for the team lead in points, accumulating 65 on 20 goals and 45 assists. The Montreal, Quebec product leads women’s Division I hockey in points per game (2.03) and assists per game (1.41) and places third in short-handed goals (4).
