Men's Hockey at Army Tabbed CBS College Sports Game of the Week

Erie, Pa. – The Mercyhurst College men's hockey game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10 against Atlantic Hockey foe Army will be nationally televised on CBS College Sports as the network's game of the week. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Tate Rink in West Point, N.Y.

The Lakers, who enter the series with a record of 7-10-2, will make their second appearance on national television after taking on Army two seasons ago for a College Sports Television (CSTV) Game of the Week match-up.

DirecTV subscribers can tune to channel 613 while DishNetwork customers can access the game via channel 152.  Locally, TimeWarner Cable will carry the game on the designated CBS College Sports channel.

Mercyhurst defeated Army earlier this season at the Mercyhurst Ice Center. The Lakers came out flying in the series, scoring six goals the first night en route to a 6-2 victory before posting another six goals on the Black Knights the very next night in a 6-3 win.

Following the two games at West Point, the Lakers return home to kick off the start of an eight-game home stand beginning with AHA opponent Sacred Heart on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7:05 p.m.
