Boston, Mass. – Mercyhurst's men's rowing collegiate eight finished 14^th out of the 38 boats at the Head of the Charles Regatta Sunday.

 

The Lakers were in ninth place at the halfway point of the three-mile race down the Charles River but the boat nearly ran into a bridge almost three-quarters of the way down the course and lost approximately 15 seconds correcting. The team finished with a time of 15:50.393, less than 11 seconds out of the top 10.

 

Williams College won the race in 15:11.487, followed by Trinity College in 15:12.422.
